Dr. Farish Ahmad-Noor merupakan dosen tamu di the Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technical University (NTU), Singapore. Beliau merupakan direktur riset untuk Gugusan Penelitian tentang Transnational Agama di Asia Tenggara. Beliau juga merupakan professor tamu di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) dan Universitas Islam Negeri, Sunan Kalijaga, Jogjakarta. Dr. Farish Ahmad-Noor merupakan penulis buku ‘Writings on the War on Terror’ (2006), ‘From Majapahit to Putrajaya’ (2005) dan ‘Islam Embedded: The Historical Development of PAS’ (2004).

On Wednesday, September 3, 2008, CRCS and ICRS will held Wednesday Forum. The speaker will be Prof. Dr. Mark Woodward. Dr. Woodward is associate professor of religions in Southeast Asia. He has taught at Illinois Wesleyan University and Bowdoin College. Today, he is a visiting Professor of Religious Studies at the Center for Religious and Cross-cultural Studies at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He has received grants from Fulbright?Hays, the Social Science Research Council, the US Department of State, and from the Indonesian Ministry of Religion. He has conducted extensive ethnographic and historical research in Indonesia, Burma and Singapore.

CRCS dan ICRS akan melanjutan kembali diskusi Wednesday Forum pada 3 September 2008. Sebagai pembicara pertama adalah Prof. Dr. Mark Woodward. Dr. Woodward merupakan professor dalam bidang kajian agama di Asia Tenggara. Beliau mengajar di Illinois Wesleyan University dan Bowdoin College. Saat ini, beliau merupakan dosen tamu di program studi Agama dan Lintas Budaya, UGM, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Beliau memperoleh grant dari Fulbright-Hays, the Social Science Research Council, the US Department of State, dan dari Menteri Agama Indonesia. Beliau telah melakukan penelitian sejarah dan ethnograpi secara ekstensif di Indonesia, Burma, dan Singapura.
