Wening Udasmoro memperoleh gelar Ph.D dalam studi Gender dari Geneva University, dalam studi yang berhubungan dengan gender dan politik, kebijakan aborsi di Indonesia. Disamping menjadi pengajar di Sastra Prancis, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, beliau juga termasuk salah seorang core doctoral faculty di ICRS-Yogya

Simon Rae first came to Indonesia with his wife and family in 1972. Now officially ?retired’. Simon does contract teaching for Otago University and is involved in a number of international programmes ? the Asia Bible Commentary series (buku tafsiran), the History of Chrstianity in Indonesia project and he has recently translated Professor Karel Steenbrink’s De Jezusverzen in de Koran (2006) for publication in India.

Simon Rae pertama kali datang ke Indonesia bersama istri dan keluarganya pada tahun 1972. Sekarang secara resmi beliau telah pensiun. Simon melakukan kontrak mengajar untuk Otago University dan beliau terlibat dalam sejumlah program-program internasional the Asia Bible Commentary series (buku tafsiran), sejarah agama Kristen di Indonesia dan beliau baru saja menerjemahkan buku Professor Karel Steenbrink’s De Jezusverzen in de Koran (2006) untuk diterbitkan di India.
